Student Engagement
Since our inception in 2004, our reach has extended to affiliate chapters in Atlanta, GA; Washington, DC; and Philadelphia, PA. We have given back annually to our colleges and students to provide financial assistance and scholarship funds. We regularly host events that offer education on applying to and having a successful tenure at our nation’s HBCUs. We host and participate in college fairs providing knowledge on how to use and succeed at HBCUs.
Alumni Support
The National HBCU Alumni Alliance is dedicated to enriching the brand of HBCUs. We are the living proof that HBCUs are not only rich in history for Blacks and People of Color, but proving everyday that we are the alumni who are making history in our careers, in our communities, and in the lives of future HBCU graduates. We are the network that provides a homegrown sense of self to each other, to our communities and to students in all educational disciplines.
Community Outreach
In our communities we focus on Health, Wellness, Hunger, and Higher Education — issues that have a direct impact on African American communities.
Our auxiliary chapters have established partnerships with organizations that allow us to be able to educate and give back to our local areas. Our partnerships with our community organizations have yielded annual health fairs, food drives, run/walks and fundraising events.
HBCU Grads Through the Years
We are the graduates of HBCUs, and we are the jewels that are derived from the treasure that is Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
