Catherine Brackett is the Secretary of the National HBCU Alumni Alliance, Inc. and a graduate of Virginia Union University. She received her teaching certification from Florida Atlantic University. From being an educator to working in the government arena, Cathy’s career has always been in service to others.

Her commitment to community led to her serving in multiple leadership roles in the Metro Atlanta Alumni Chapter of Virginia Union University, the John H. Cross Metro-Atlanta Alumni Chapter, the Virginia Union University National Alumni Association, the Atlanta HBCU Alumni Alliance, and the Atlanta Inter-Alumni Council of the UNCF. Cathy is a dedicated member of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
